Room Scan Data

If you use our room scanning application, we collect the measurements it produces: the dimensions and positions of walls, doors, windows, and openings, and the dimensions and positions of built-in features it detects, such as cabinetry, countertops, and appliances. This information describes the physical layout of the space you scan. It does not identify you.

Information We Do NOT Collect

• We do NOT sell your personal information
• We do NOT collect information from children under 16
• We do NOT access or store your personal design files created using our tools
• We do NOT store photographs or video from our room scanning application. The camera is used to measure the room, and the imagery is not recorded or transmitted
• We do NOT require an account, email address, or password to use the room scanning application
• We do NOT collect analytics, advertising identifiers, or device identifiers in the room scanning application, and we do not track you across other apps or websites

Room Scanning Application

Our room scanning application uses the camera and LiDAR sensor on a supported iPhone or iPad to measure a room. Because this app works differently from our other Services, we describe it separately here.

No Account, and No Personal Information

The scanning app does not ask you to create an account or sign in. There is no name, no email address, and no password. To use it, you enter a six-digit code given to you by the designer who asked you to scan the space. That code is the only credential, and it grants permission to send scans to that designer's project and nothing else. The app does not collect analytics, advertising identifiers, or device identifiers, and it does not track you across apps or websites.

We Do Not Store Photographs or Video

The app needs camera access in order to scan, because the camera and LiDAR sensor work together to measure the room. However, the camera feed is processed on your device by Apple's RoomPlan framework and is not recorded. No photographs, video, or images of your home are stored on your device or transmitted to us. What leaves your device is a set of measurements: the size and position of walls, doors, windows, and detected built-ins.

What Happens to a Scan

When you complete a scan, its measurements are sent to the designer whose code you entered, so they can produce a floor plan and design your space. We store the scan on our behalf and theirs so they can retrieve it. Scans are not sold, shared with advertisers, or used to build a profile of you.

Scans Made for a Design Firm

If you received a scanning code from a design firm other than Resendiz Enterprises, that firm decides why the scan is collected and how it is used. We store and process it on their instructions. Requests to access or delete such a scan should be directed to that firm, though you may also contact us and we will assist.

Deleting a Scan

You may ask the designer who sent you the code to delete your scan, or contact us directly using the details at the end of this policy. Deleting a scan removes its measurements from our systems.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

With Service Providers

We share information with third-party vendors who provide services on our behalf, such as payment processing, email delivery, hosting, and analytics. These providers are obligated to protect your information.

With Community Members

If you participate in our community, information you post publicly may be viewed by other members.

For Legal Reasons

We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, or government request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of ourselves, our users, or others.

Business Transfers

If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

With Your Consent

We may share information with your consent or at your direction.

SMS and Text Messaging

When you provide your phone number through our forms, you agree to receive text messages from Patrick Resendiz about your inquiry, your project, and related customer care. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out. Reply HELP for help.

We do not sell or share your phone number, SMS opt-in, or consent information with any third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are never shared with anyone. We share your number only with the messaging providers that deliver these texts on our behalf, and only to send the messages you asked for.

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services.

Bot Protection

This site uses Cloudflare Turnstile to block automated spam on our forms. Turnstile checks limited browser signals to tell humans from bots. It runs invisibly in the background and does not show challenges or puzzles to visitors. Data Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as necessary to provide our Services and fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law. You may request deletion of your information by contacting us.

Room scans are retained for as long as the designer needs them to complete the project, and are deleted on request from you or from the designer who collected them.

Marketing Communications

You may opt out of promotional emails by following the unsubscribe instructions in those messages. You will continue to receive transactional communications.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect functionality of our Services.

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights including:
